Africa and other emerging markets present tremendous opportunity for Canadian resource and service companies. Capitalizing on these opportunities requires an understanding of the unique challenges of operating in these jurisdictions. Presented by the Canada-South Africa Chamber of Business this 4th Annual CSR seminar will explain in detail how companies can mitigate their risk in these markets and how the implementation of effective CSR programs can assist in reducing their risk profiles. The program will feature expert speakers, panel discussions, questions and answers, case studies by successful Canadian companies and excellent networking opportunities. While the focus of the seminar is on Africa the principles and concepts apply to all emerging market economies.
Premier Sponsor for the seminar is Hatch. Partners include the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. Other sponsors include MineAfrica Inc. and On the Ground Group.
