Our 23rd Annual African Mining Breakfast & 20th Annual Investing in African Mining Seminar during PDAC 2022 provides you with unparalleled in-person networking opportunities AND global online exposure. Our highly successful virtual format introduced in 2021, coupled with our traditional sellout, in-person breakfast and seminar at the Sheraton Hotel in Toronto, provides you with your biggest platform EVER to get your message out to a global, senior level African focused audience.
Our in-person breakfast/seminar takes place on Tuesday June 14 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel and features an opening address by an African Mining Minister and a keynote address by a senior mining company CEO active in Africa. This is followed by a networking refreshment break, and then concurrent country or regional spotlights and topically themed seminar rooms. The virtual component takes place over three half-days from June 21 to 23. It features a broadcast of the June 14 in-person proceedings including the opening and keynote breakfast addresses and ALL presentations from the seminar rooms. In addition, the 3-day virtual event will feature new opening and keynote addresses to kick off each day. Register to attend.
We also have custom designed booth space for you in in the MineAfrica Pavillion at the sold-out in-person PDAC Trade Show running from June 13-15, 2022. COVID-19 Policy: in-person and virtual we will make it work for you
Updated on January 17, 2022 - On January 17 it was announced that PDAC 2022 will not go ahead as planned in March due to current public health restrictions in Ontario. The PDAC Board of Directors made the difficult decision to reschedule the convention, maintaining the same format . PDAC 2022 will now be hosted in person in Toronto from June 13-15 and online from June 28-29.
We understand the challenges of planning in these uncertain times.

We are also planning a hybrid event featuring in-person exhibiting in the MineAfrica Pavillion at the PDAC Trade Show (June 13-15) and in-person presentation opportunities at our in-person African Mining Breakfast and Seminar (June 14). We will also be holding a rebroadcast of the Breakfast and Mining seminar at our all Virtual Investing in African Mining Webinar (June 21-23).
Should COVID-19 restrictions dictate the cancellation of the in-person portion of the PDAC Convention and Trade Show and make it strictly a virtual event we will convert exhibitors in the MineAfrica pavillion to virtual exhibitors as per PDAC guidelines and reimburse appropriately.
If COVID-19 restrictions dictate the inability to hold the in-person Canada-Africa Chamber of Business 23rd Annual African Mining Breakfast & MineAfrica’s 20th Annual Investing in African Mining Seminar at the Sheraton Centre Hotel on June 14 we will move forward with our 3-day Virtual Investing in African Mining Webinar only on June 21-23. Partners, Sponsors and Presenters will be reimbursed appropriately in this case.
Regardless of whether the PDAC and our Mining Breakfast and Seminar take place in-person and virtually, or only virtually, we guarantee that you will get the maximum exposure to promote your country, company, mining project, product or service at the biggest African mining event in North America.
